iPython: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (a.ka. genes relating to the echinoderm pathogen)

SO this iPython expedition has has been full of twists and turns from the get go and so it has taken me a little while to digest. It has been an adventure full of excitement. I have wanted to learn how to code for a while now because I can think of a lot of cool things I would do if I was technically literate (interpret that how you will). So to begin this reflection I will start where I finished: with my iPython product from day 1.  As I understand it today was very basic. We assembled a database of transcriptome sequences from seastars. And that’s pretty much it. I’m not really sure where they were sampled from but I will have to remember to ask. I am excited to learn more about how to work with iPython.
